Wyre Forest Conservatives welcomed The Party Chairman, The Rt. Hon. Amanda Milling MP, to Stourport-on-Severn, on Saturday, 11th September.
Members of Wyre Forest Conservatives celebrated on Saturday with the official opening of their new offices in Stourport-on-Severn. The Party Chairman, cut the ribbon after a joyous count down from members.
Amanda Milling MP said “It was an honour to formally open the offices for the local association and to hear Members’ enthusiasm and plans for campaigning and fundraising.”
The opening reception was the first event for members to get together since restrictions eased. Catching up with friends and having the opportunity of speaking directly with a Government Cabinet member in the evening sunshine, the positive energy from members was electric.
Helen White, Fundraising officer, who arranged the event said “We were delighted that the Party Chairman, accepted our invitation to open our new offices in Bewdley Road North. Obviously moving during last year was extremely difficult, but the hard work for all involved paid off. Seeing Members in the sunshine this evening laughing, chatting and catching up is wonderful. Today is all about celebrating our new home.”
