As an update for all local Chaddesley residents  regarding a possible pavement extension on the A448 from the bend past the Fox PH past Rowberry's and up to the Primary School. Marcus now has information from WCC on the process and potential cost.

As a result, Marcus has written to the Parish Council for their views and have also written to the Primary School and asked parents for their views, in particular whether they would use the pavement if it was extended and if they consider it to be value for money. This would cost at least £150,000 (resurfacing, surveys, traffic management, potential moving of utilities) and would be a major scheme and take approximately 7 weeks to construct. WCC undertakes about 2 such schemes across the county every year and has to be scored and ranked.
