County Councillor for Churchill and Blakedown, Marcus Hart, is delighted with the new pavement resurfacing for Mill Close, Mill Lane and Station Drive.

Marcus says, “I am delighted with the recent pavement resurfacing that has taken place, having allocated my devolved highways funding to ensure that this work was done. Real progress is taking place as the Belbroughton Road and parts of the A456 Birmingham Road have already been done.”

Churchill Lane between the A456 and Wannerton Road is also scheduled to be done over the next 6 months as is major patching in Wannerton Road, Elm Drive and Brookside Way. 

Marcus added, “Rest assured I am working hard on your behalf on all highways issues all year round. I am regularly in the Parish reporting and inspecting highways issues, from potholes, double yellow lines, liaising with the police on speeding issues to ensuring verge growth is cut back.”
