I just wanted to update all of the local residents who I serve that I will be attending the Public Inquiry in respect of the Lea Castle Quarry on Tuesday 28th February and have registered to speak in the afternoon session to repeat the objections and representations I made when the matter was considered by WCC's planning committee. As one of the Parish and District Councillors for the area I have opposed and spoken out against these proposals at the appropriate time to ensure the voice of local residents has been heard. I know that my Parish Council colleague Cllr. Robin Drew whom is pictured with me has done the same as have all of my Wolverley Parish Council colleagues.
I am very clear that this proposal will have a detrimental impact on the amenity of local residents and an adverse effect on the green belt.
