Cllr. Marcus Hart has been contacted by several residents regarding the state of the land at the rear of properties in Jay Park Crescent adjacent to Captains Pool Road and Heronswood Road.

Marcus says, “It appears that residents have been badly let down by Bovis Homes’ lack of active land management and despite their previous attempts to engage with Bovis Homes, this has had little effect on Bovis Homes undertaking their responsibilities as a responsible landowner. I have today written to Bovis Homes asking for an urgent site meeting to discuss this matter.”

Marcus visited the location recently with a Worcestershire County Council highways engineer in order to look at the collapsed tree over the footpath that links Jay Park Crescent to Heronswood Road. Marcus has requested that Worcestershire County Council prune back any branches to make the tree safe for footpath users.
