Blakedown's Cllr Marcus Hart  welcomes the quick response by WFDC and action taken to remove a dangerous tree which was raising concerns for the Highway.

Marcus said "I am very pleased that the dangerous tree in The Avenue, Blakedown, has now been felled. I reported this for inspection and residents have also raised this with me and so was delighted the work has been done so promptly. Another tree in The Avenue looks to have very limited growth on it and is to be inspected further in the Spring."

No one likes to see trees felled unnecessarily but it is important dangerous trees are removed for everyone’s safety.
