Your 8 Conservative Wyre Forest County Councillors are pleased to announce that the household waste site will be opening from next Monday. (27th July).
In order not to delay the opening further there will be a booking system on this site and details can be found on the County Council’s website.
County Councillor for the Spennells area Marcus Hart added, “ This is good news for my local residents as it is closer than the Stourport Road site and it will also take pressure off that site. Whilst I appreciate there is a booking system in the short term this is to ensure the site can open as otherwise due to its access it may well have had to stay closed for even longer. At least it is open and with a booking system residents can avoid spending a long time queuing.”
The site will be open from 8am-5pm, with the last booking at 4:45pm.
