County Councillor Marcus Hart says, “Further to my communication at the beginning of June I am very pleased to report that highway teams are out today (Tuesday 23rd June) dealing with the road surface issues.”

Marcus had previously reported that he was pleased to confirm that as a result of his actions, Worcestershire County Council had written to Marcus and would be sending a highways team in over the next few weeks to work on the highway.

Marcus added, “I am delighted this work is being undertaken promptly. I would like to thank residents for their patience but ask them to contact me if they still have issues in their road. I am told the work will be completed by Thursday afternoon and will be 3-6mm of chippings manually laid by a team going over the black bitumen showing on the highway. ”
