Last night, the Labour/Green/Independent Group who run Wyre Forest District Council voted against the Conservative budget which included funding for more Parking Enforcement Officers.
WFDC Cllr Tracey Onslow implored your local Green and Labour Councillors to support this proposal as a way of helping with the constant ongoing parking issues suffered by so many residents on a daily basis, across nearly all our streets in Blakebrook & Habberley South.
But they voted against it, with your local Green Councillor saying parking issues would only be solved when we have fewer cars and walk more. Both Labour and Green voted with the Independents who said it was a long-standing, ongoing problem that residents just had to learn to live with!
Not much help there then!
