Thank you to the resident who sensibly contacted Tracey Onslow during lockdown, to raise the issue of a deep and worsening pothole in Sutton Park Road, at its junction with Carter Gardens and Hazelwood Close.
Highways filled in the pothole within the week, which prevented any cars or bicycles getting damaged. Tracey said “I was glad to receive the call because, although Highways were having to concentrate on emergency works only, it is important that we still get important works such as this carried out. I would encourage residents to contact us about such issues, because although potholes can seem small issues, when they are deep, they can easily cause damage to someone’s vehicle, or worse if someone hits it and comes off their bike, for example”
