Red Lion Cookley Planning update

Wyre Forest Rural Ward Councillors who represent Cookley, Ian Hardiman, Marcus Hart and Lisa Jones are pleased to say that the former Red Lion PH site, more recently a convenience store has now not only received planning consent for 6 x1 bedroom flats but most recently consent for a pair of semi detached properties on the rear of the site.

Lisa says, “As a local Cookley resident I know only too well of the frustrations of local residents that this site has been an eye sore for far too long.”

Ian said, “The rear of the site is a complete mess and with it being redeveloped this should solve that problem.”

Marcus added, “It is essential that redundant brown field sites are redeveloped in order to protect our greenbelt.”
