Ian Hardiman, County Councillor for Wribbenhall, Cookley & Wolverley is pleased to receive confirmation from County Highways that the B4190 Kidderminster Road from the Safari Park Roundabout to Beale’s Corner is to receive Carriageway Resurfacing, scheduled for commencement 24th August this year.

Ian says, “For the last two years I have been expressing my concern for the poor condition of this road which is a Gateway to Bewdley and as such should be restored to good, usable condition.

Thankfully, a few months ago, I was able to reach agreement with County Highways officers, which entailed a contribution of £25,000 from my Divisional Highways Allocation (over the next two years) and now this is coming to fruition, I am very pleased indeed.

I look forward to a dramatic improvement in driving experience as visitors (& local residents) make their way into our lovely Bewdley Town.”
