Residents of the closed area of Shaw Hedge Road notified County Councillor Ian Hardiman that the pavement there, which is of slabs construction, is much overgrown by weeds and is uneven causing a trip hazard!

In response, Ian inspected this and quickly arranged for the Highways Inspector to investigate, also requesting that consideration be given to replacing this section of pavement with tarmac.

Ian says, “I am pleased that the County Highways Engineer has agreed that tarmac should be installed  to ensure appropriate safety for pedestrians here.”
