District Councillor for Bewdley and Rock

I served as a Bewdley Town Councillor between 2019 and 2023 and had the honour of being Deputy Mayor in 2020. I have also served as your County Councillor since 2021 and sit on the Audit and Standards & Ethics committees as well as being a member of the Hereford & Worcester Fire Authority.

I balance my political commitments with my role as a Regional Manager for Waitrose. I am married to Jo who also works for the John Lewis Partnership and we enjoy spending time locally walking our dog and socialising with friends. My personal interests are Football, Rugby and I am a keen Cyclist, runner and Scuba Diver.

Fresh Road Lines for Oak Leaf Rise

Update from County Councillor Dan Morehead. Following concerns raised at Rock Parish Council, I raised this at WCC an am pleased to see that the Highways Team have acted on this and added junction lines at the end of Oak Leaf Rise. I have also requested an inspection of the lines at the junction

Update on Arley Riverside Bollards

The works here are likely to be undertaken in two phases. Phase 1: Both the carriage way and the wall underpinning it require repair. Due to height of river, no works have, as of yet, been undertaken.

Blossom Hill Pavement Surface

Further to a recent Walkabout Bewdley, County Cllr Dan Morehead reports back: Following a weekend out, talking with residents about local living conditions and concerns on Saturday, I have today reported the dire state of pavements and roads on the Blossom Hill estate.
