I am pleased to get the new sign installed at last on the A456 heading towards Blakedown. There have been a few cars leave the road on the Hodge Hill side of the carriageway and WCC highways, at my request are looking at what they can do to improve the safety of the road here

The works here are likely to be undertaken in two phases.
Phase 1: Both the carriage way and the wall underpinning it require repair. Due to height of river, no works have, as of yet, been undertaken.
Following years of campaigning for a pedestrian crossing in the vicinity of the Poplar Road junction on Sutton Road, where many residents cross to access the park, Cllrs Nathan Desmond and Tracey Onslow have been successful in getting this proposal to the next stage.

Following a weekend out, talking with residents about local living conditions and concerns on Saturday, I have today reported the dire state of pavements and roads on the Blossom Hill estate.
Park Lane - the section from Castle to Stourport Road - has my attention today.
The pavement behind the double yellow lines at the Castle Rd junction is pooling water, possibly due to cars being parked fully on the pavement.
